Sheet metal fabricator Garwood Metal Co. has announced the addition of an AMADA Brevis 1212 AJ compact fiber laser at its facility in Garwood, N.J. The system can process two 4- by 4-ft. sheets seamlessly, manage rectangular parts that require jigs with clamping to fabricate, and cut rectangular tube.
A choice of assist gases—oxygen, nitrogen, or high-compression shop air—is available to meet project specifications. The fiber laser delivers precise cut edge quality in copper, brass, titanium, and exotic metals in flat and 3D shapes, reports the company. Laser Fiber Cutting Machine
