Pippa Middleton is embracing festive dressing.
The sister of the Princess of Wales made an appearance this evening at the Heart Hero Awards 2023 at Glaziers Hall in London. Per the organization, the awards celebrate "the incredible people who help support our lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases."
She leaned into the holiday season by wearing a green lace dress, matching her red pumps to a red clutch—a literal take on festive dressing, ulitizing the go-to Christmas colors of red and green. The dress appears to be the Green Guipure Lace Midi Dress by designer Self Portrait, a favorite brand of Kate Middleton's and other royal women. Kate first wore the British label in 2016, and has turned to it again and again in the years since—including at Wimbledon this past summer. It's not Pippa's first time wearing Self Portrait, either; she wore one of their dresses to Wimbledon five years ago.
Pippa seemingly attended the event solo, sans her husband James Matthews. Her last major appearance was this past May, at the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
It may be a busy week for Pippa. Last year, she attended the "Together at Christmas" carol service at Westminster Abbey, to support her sister, Kate, along with other Middletons and members of the royal family. (They all coordinated in burgundy!) There's a good chance we'll see Pippa, and the rest of the Middleton family, again this Friday at the Abbey for the annual Christmas service.
